Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

Q1. How do I view my Daily Statement?

Your Daily Statement will be sent to your e-mail as per our records.

Q2. When do I receive my Daily Statement?

You will receive two statements. A prelim end of day statement in the evening and final end of day statement the following morning.

Q3. How do I change/update my email?

You can contact your Trading Representative ("TR") or contact our Call Centre at 1800 538 9889. You may also choose to email us at clientservices.sg@cgsi.com.

Q4. My statement reflects different currencies in the account, why is that so?

There will be foreign currencies in your account if you have traded in different foreign market.

Q5. Will there be any auto conversion for the currencies?

No. The currencies in your account will only be converted upon request.

Q6. When will I be able to receive my monthly statement?

Your monthly statement will be sent to you the 1st working day of the following month.

Q7. What if I would like to retrieve my past monthly statements?

To retrieve past monthly statements. Kindly contact your Trading Representative ("TR") or contact our Call Centre at 1800 538 9889.

Q8. Are there any charges for past monthly statements?

Statements within the last 3 months are free of charge. However, if you would like to retrieve statements between 3 to 12 months, there will be a SGD20 fee subjected to GST for each monthly statement retrieved. If you would like to retrieve statements beyond 12 months, there will be a SGD30 fee subjected to GST for each monthly statement retrieved.

Q9. When will I receive or pay dividends and where do I view it.

If you have a long position, dividends will be credited into the account whilst having a short position will result in debiting of the account and will be deducted or credited one day before the ex-date for Asian Markets. For Non-Asian Markets, dividends will only be debited/credited on Ex-Date. It can be viewed under number 26^ as shown above.

Q10. Why is the overnight financing three times higher on a Friday?

The overnight financing includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
